In October 2023, we hosted a community workshop where Indigenous fathers identified some barriers they face in engaging with parenting resources. The second of five barriers identified was limited access to parenting programs.
We are working to take down these barriers and make it easier for Indigenous fathers to access parenting resources made by and for Indigenous fathers.
At our community workshop last October, Indigenous fathers identified some barriers they face in engaging with parenting resources. The first barrier we identified was stereotypes and stigmas.
The mission of the FOTNG project is to remove these barriers and stigmas to make parenting programs accessible.
We are building a parenting program by and for Indigenous fathers. We want to hear from you and incorporate your feedback. Visit the link in bio to get involved.
